All information at LawsuitData.com is retrieved directly from the US Federal District Court databases. While other services may source certain data from other cheaper services, LawsuitData.com believes the accuracy of this information is too important to leave to chance. All information is accurate at the time of retrieval, though the courts may have updated their database since the last time we retrieved certain information.
Yes, this is all public information provided by the US Federal District Courts.
If the court has sealed a case (or any part of a case), you may submit a request to LawsuitData.com (customer support) to remove that information. Once we confirm that the court has removed the information from the public record, we will make sure to do the same from our database.
At this time, the only method we have available for payment is through Paypal. You do not need to have a Paypal account and will be allowed to checkout without creating one. You can just enter your credit card information without creating a Paypal account; however, that is still processed through Paypal's interface for security reasons.
